Message from the Director...

Welcome to George Mason University’s Office of Diversity Programs and Services (ODPS) website!  As the director, I hope you will find many ways to actively participate in services offered by the office.  My experience in higher education tells me that your years at George Mason University will be filled with exciting and challenging experiences, and ODPS is looking forward to being part of your journey.    

There really is something for everyone at ODPS, such as summer transition opportunities for high school students with a focus on adjusting to life at Mason, leadership opportunities, academic advising, training opportunities for graduate students, as well as mentoring roles for alumni to name a few. 

As you traverse our website you will notice that we have a Calendar of Events which is regularly updated, so make it a point to check it out frequently for the latest information about upcoming events. 

I am excited about continuing the legacy of ODPS to focus on providing an inclusive environment for ALL students through academic advising, advocacy, and programming.  I hope you will take advantage of the numerous opportunities to become involved at ODPS and Mason.
